Absence, also known as Void essence, is the second most powerful ore in the titans mod. It is also very special, as it has cool abilities. Void essence can be found as an ore block in the overworld where it is least common, found as 0-2 ore blocks in y coordinate 8 or lower, the end dimension where it is much more plentiful, and the nowhere, where it is absolutely littered with it.
The void ore block kills you if you stand on it, and explodes when is mined. It's condensed, or full block also explodes anything that touches it. It also gives off a black particle effect. Void essence can also be dropped by stronger titans, more depending on the strength, to be made into better titan-killing tools than harcadium.
The void sword is a weapon to fear. Dealing an extra 1500 points of damage makes it one of the most powerful swords across all mods.It also ignores NPC immunity frames so you can hit faster.When you right click and hold it a couple seconds it deals area damage up to 6 blocks that is equal to sword damage. It, and other absence tools are made like normal, except for the main parts of the tool you use void essence, which looks like the picture next to here, and a harcadium ore as the hilt, or where you grab it. This is shown here.
The other absence tools are crafted in a similar way, but the Absence hoe is special.
The absence hoe is a special weapon in this mod. It doesn't do area damage like a sword, but, like a scythe, when killing a non-golem non-titan non-player entity with it, it steals it's soul and uses it to give you extra health and strength. It also does it's duties as a hoe and can transform nearly every dirt like block, including sponge and gravel, into farmland. Here is how you craft it.
Absence armor is also very powerful. Crafting Absence Armor is the same as any armor: instead, with void essence
Each piece gives buffs:
Helmet: Night Vision, Water Breathing + 250 hp
Chest-plate: Haste 100, Resistance IV, Strength 50, Fire Resistance +400 hp
Leggings: Regeneration 200 + 350 hp
Boots: Jump Boost X, Speed XX +200 hp
Full set: Absorption C (Health that replenishes after 40 seconds), Saturation C (never need to eat), and the wearer gives off deep, loud hum. You also go from having 10 hearts to a massive 600 hearts and 200 absorption hearts!You also give every entity that is close to you damage equal to falling out of the world(4 dmg per half of a second) and also blindness and wither effects.
