Cleavers are a type of weapon that is craftable in the Engender Mod.
Crafting[]
In order to make a Cleaver, the player needs one Stick and five of the material needed for the specific type of Cleaver; For Wood, it's Wooden Planks (Can be any type), for Stone, it's Cobblestone, for Iron, it's Iron Ingots, for Gold, it's Gold Ingots, and for Diamond, it's Diamonds, and they need to place them as seen in the pictures in the gallery in a Crafting Table.
Usage[]
Cleavers have the same durability and strength as Swords and can be enchanted with the same enchants at either an Enchantment Table or at an Anvil, but have two advantages to make up for their more pricy cost; If the player kills a mob that has a head drop (Creeper, Skeleton, Wither Skeleton, or a Zombie), they will always drop their head as an item, making the Cleaver a great way to farm for Wither Skeleton Skulls to fight the Wither, however this will not work if you kill an Engender mob, only the Vanilla Minecraft mobs will drop their heads. If the player right clicks on an adult animal with a Cleaver will instantly kill the animal and butcher them so they drop multiple drops and Mana, which can be enhanced by the Looting enchant, causing animals to sometimes drop almost a stack worth of items. The animals that are effected by this are the Chicken, Cow, Donkey, Horse, Llama, Mooshroom, Pig, Polar Bear, Rabbit, and Sheep. The Cleaver cannot butcher a baby animal since they have no drops, and although it will instantly kill Engender mobs (Minus the Donkey and Horse, as they lack an Engender Mob, unless the Skeleton Horses of the Skeleton Horseman are counted), Engender mobs will not have increased drops.
