Eversource (Known in their source material as Benedict the Eversource) are a rare mob that originates from Minecraft: Story Mode.

Spawning[]

Item[]

Eversource does not spawn naturally and can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with a Chicken Fusion, four Emerald Blocks, and four Fusion Crafters. It takes a total of four minutes for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 5000 mana and 100 Entropy. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn an Eversource, which has a chance of spawning as a baby.

Behavior[]

Eversources are not really meant for attacking, as they have a force field attack of sorts that pushes mobs away, but leaves them open to mobs with ranged attacks like a Skeleton or a Ghast, however, where the Eversource comes in is its ability to produce Fusions. Eversources are able to produce any Fusion up to Tier 5, and due to bugs involving crafting recipes not working, this mob is the only way to get Engender Sheep and Wither Skeletons in Survival if natural spawning is turned off, and the only way to get an Engender Prison Zombie in Survival, as they do not spawn in the wild. Due to the fact that they produce the Fusions themselves and not Fusion Parts, Eversources are one of the best support mobs in the game, as they allow the player to get infinite Fusions for mobs that would normally be limited per world such as the Evoker or the Ender Dragon.

The player is able to mount the Eversource, it acts similar to a Chicken, however it doesn't take damage when a player mounts them, making them a superior mount to Chickens. There is currently a glitch where the Eversource will continue to lay Fusions even after it died.
