Ice Spiders (Known in their source material as Icy Spider) are a rare mob that originates from Minecraft: Story Mode.

Ice Spiders do not spawn naturally and can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with an Egg, a String, a Spider Eye, and a block of Snow. It takes a total of 25 seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 30 mana. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn a Ice Spider.
Behavior[]
Ice Spiders will leap at opponents and attack them by striking them with their front legs, and although their attacks are fairly weak, they make up for the lack of damage with their ability to inflict Slowness II with their attacks, which lasts 7 seconds on Easy, 15 seconds on Normal, and 23 seconds on Hard. In addition, they inflict additional status ailments on harder difficulties, such as also inflicting Weakness on Normal, and Blindness on Hard. Since they have fairly weak attack power and rely on their negative effects for support, these mobs are not very good if the difficulty is set to Easy, but the ability to inflict Weakness makes them more useful than something like a Cave Spider.
The player is able to mount the Ice Spider, which will allow them to run across the land and climb up walls, while using the jump key will cause the Ice Spider to leap forward. Engender Ice Spiders are one of the many mobs that have a female model. Despite being an icy mob, Ice Spiders are able to survive in hot biomes like Deserts and Badlands.
