Iron Golems are an uncommon mob in the world of Minecraft.
Spawning[]
Item[]
If natural spawning is disabled, Iron Golems can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with four Blocks of Emerald, four blocks of Iron and a Pumpkin. It takes a total of two minutes and twenty seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 1500 mana and two Entropy. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn an Iron Golem, which has a chance of spawning as a baby, and the adults that spawn will be wearing the cape that the player has (if they have a cape equipped).
Natural[]
If natural spawning is enabled, wild Iron Golems will only spawn in Villages that have 21 or more doors as well as ten or more Villagers. The Iron Golem Fusion item can also rarely be found as loot inside of Blacksmith chests.
Behavior[]
Iron Golems will attack by moving quickly toward its target and swings its arms up violently to attack, flinging the target into the air and dealing heavy damage. Despite the good damage output, it is cheaper and better to just craft an Iron Golem the normal way, as although Engender Iron Golems follow the player, regenerate health, and can attack Creepers, something normal Iron Golems won't do, making a normal Iron Golem will also save you four Emerald Blocks for use in other tier 5 fusions.
The player is able to mount the Iron Golem, however due to being rather slow, it is not recommended to use one as a mount. Despite the fact a wild Engender Iron Golem drops Entropy upon death, Iron Golems are not considered boss mobs, as they use the generic icon for the Carrier instead of the boss mob icon. Occasionally, an Iron Golem will hold out a Poppy, if the player right clicks on the Iron Golem, it will drop the Poppy as an item. Unlike vanilla Iron Golems, Engender Iron Golems can swim and will not sink when they enter water. Engender Iron Golems are one of the many mobs that have a female model. If an Engender Iron Golem is made into a Hero Iron Golem via use of The Star of Valor, it will gain a new ability where the Iron Golem will occasionally leap high into the air and create an explosion upon landing that doesn't destroy blocks, it will also occasionally cause this explosion when being mounted by the player.
