"Llamas come in four fetching colours, brown, grey, white and creamy. A neutral mob, they can be tamed just like horses and leashed together in chains to form caravans, which is far less grim and prison-chain-gangy than I've just made it sound. Honest! Llamas can even have little llama babies, as if they weren't insufferably cute enough already." - Tom Stone

Llamas are an uncommon mob in the world of Minecraft.

Spawning[]

Item[]

If natural spawning is disabled, Llamas can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with an Egg, one White Carpet (Dyed Carpet will not work for this), and one Leather. It takes a total of 16 seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 4 mana. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn a Llama, which will spawn with a random fur color and health value and has a chance of spawning as a baby.

Natural[]

If natural spawning is enabled, wild Llamas will spawn at a light level 7 or above on grass blocks in Savanna Plateau M and Extreme Hills biomes.

Behavior[]

Llamas attack enemies in two ways, if they're close to an enemy, they will ram into them, and if they're far away, they will spit on them. Llamas are one of the only Tier 2 mobs that have a projectile attack, with the other mob being the Snow Golem, and due to the fact the Llama is able to endure Deserts and Water without dying and the fact they can have up to 15 Hearts, they're one of the best Tier 2 units to have because of their cheap cost and utility.

The player is able to use the Llama as a mount and ride on it, however it is unable to jump, making it not as useful as other mob mounts. Unlike Vanilla Llamas, you cannot place Carpets or Chests on an Engender Llama, and they cannot caravan with normal or other Engender Llamas.
