Magma Cubes are an uncommon mob in the world of Minecraft.
Spawning[]
Item[]
If natural spawning is disabled, Magma Cubes can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with an Egg and one Magma Cream. It takes a total of 30 seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 10 mana. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn a Magma Cube, which will spawn in at a random size.
Natural[]
If natural spawning is enabled, wild Magma Cubes will spawn anywhere in the Nether at any light level.
Behavior[]
Magma Cubes attack by leaping into opponents to damage them. Due to how the sizes for these mobs work, which is similar for the Slime and Prison Slime, the Big versions are the best for their highest health and damage output, while the Small versions are useless due to fact any attack in the game can kill them.
The player is able to mount a Medium or Big Magma Cube and ride on it, however, they cannot move normally and can only move by holding the jump button to make them leap, which they can jump up to 15 blocks high and 15 blocks long, making them good for crossing Rivers and Ravines. When a Medium or Big Magma Cube dies, it will split into 2-4 Medium or Small Magma Cubes respectively. Magma Cubes will take constant damage in the rain or if they enter a source of Water. Engender Magma Cubes are one of the many mobs that have a female model. If an Engender Magma Cube is made into a Hero Magma Cube via use of The Star of Valor, it will gain a new attack where it will occasionally leap high into the air, creating an explosion that damages all enemies within the current chunk, even those that are underground.
