"Everybody loves Mooshrooms! They are the perfect combination of derpy and cool!" -Everybody
Mooshrooms are a rare mob in the world of Minecraft.
Spawning[]
Item[]
If natural spawning is disabled, Mooshrooms can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with an Egg, some Raw Beef, and some Mushroom Stew. It takes a total of ten seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of four mana. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn a Mooshroom, which has a chance to spawn as a baby.
Natural[]
If natural spawning is enabled, wild Mooshrooms will spawn in the Overworld at a light level of 9 or higher with at least two blocks of space above, and will only spawn in the Mushroom Fields biome.
Behavior[]
Mooshrooms behave very similarly to Cows, they will attack by ramming into their opponents. Although they cost double the amount of Mana compared to a Cow, they are still cheap and one of the best Tier 1 units in the early game, as they have the most health of any Tier 1, tied with the aforementioned Cow, Ocelot, and the Pig, making them good for cheap and efficient combat.
Like its vanilla counterpart, right clicking on an Engendered Mooshroom with an empty Bucket will fill the Bucket up with Milk, which makes Cows good to have when fighting mobs that inflict negative status effects like the Witch or Wither Skeletons, and right clicking on it with an empty Bowl will give the player Mushroom Stew, which also makes them a great source for food. Unlike their vanilla counterparts however, Engendered Mooshrooms cannot be sheared and turned into a Cow, using Shears on them will result in the particle effects forming on the Mooshroom, but it will remain a Mooshroom, and no Mushrooms will drop, nor will the Shears lose any durability. The player is able to use the Mooshroom as a mount and ride on it at a fast speed, making it very good for early game transportation.
