Parrots are an uncommon mob in the world of Minecraft.
Spawning[]
Item[]
If natural spawning is disabled, Parrots can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with an Egg, a Feather, and a Cookie. It takes a total of ten seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 1 mana. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn a Parrot, which will spawn in with one of the five random colors a Parrot can be.
Natural[]
If natural spawning is enabled, wild Parrots will only spawn in Jungle biomes above logs, leaves, or grass blocks.
Behavior[]
Parrots will attack by flying into the air before slowly flying down to deal damage, then fly back up. Despite the facts Parrots are tied with the Ocelot for doing the most damage of any Tier 1 mob, they are one of the, if not, the worst unit in the game. Their flying speed is extremely slow, and by the time they make it to the ground to attack an enemy, they will almost always get hit first and fly back up into the air, meaning they rarely get to attack anything.
Unlike Vanilla Parrots, Engender Parrots will not sit on the players shoulder and they will not dance to music, however they will still mimic nearby hostile mobs, making them good for detecting hostile mobs that could be hidden underground, and they are also able to eat Cookies without dying to them.
