Mert Ali Monster

is a mob originally from Minecraft: Story Mode - Season

Spawning[]

In order to spawn a Wither Storm, you need its fusion item, which is done by either surrounding it with skulls or wither skeleton or nether star with two soul sand at the side, 3 wither skeleton skulls on top, and two diamond blocks top right and left corner. You then need t put it in an engender mr with 1 coal and wait for 2.5 hours to have your Wither storm fusion.

Just like with most creatures in this mod, there is a enemy variant which can be spawned using a command/command block or the spawn egg in creative mode. The wither storm never spawns naturally.

Command: /summon ageofminecraft:witherstormbosshelpful

Command in Phase 0 /summon ageofminecraft:witherboss_commandblock_helpful

Psychlogical Behaviours[]

The Wither Storm, until it fully pulls together in its Destroyer phase, acts like a normal Wither, apart from only the main head shooting flaming skulls only. It attacks in creative mode but it won't do any damage. During the the first 3 stages parts of its theme song will play, which may or may not be annoying for some.

Just like in MCSM The Wither Storm possesses the ability to continuously grow and get bigger and stronger, by sucking and absorbing blocks, items, and mobs. The growth of the wither storm is all categorized into stages with each stage getting more powerful. Its health also increases as it absorbs blocks and items.

Most if not all of his attacks will give Nausea and Wither, Once these status effects are inflicted they will last for a long time or be infinitely long, similar to the advanced variant of the wither called "Wither Sickness" from MCSM season 1.

While its command block is exposed, a splash healing potion will instakill it before the cycloptic stage, as a reference to ivor’s backup potion. Once the cycloptic stage is reached, the potion will do critical damage but not instability the wither storm. Once the command block is covered however, the wither storm will become immune to all potions.

Initial[]

This is the stage it starts in. The Wither Storm starts at 300 hp (150 hearts), it's similar to a wither but has a command block in its rib-cage, shooting flaming wither skulls, and only shoots skulls from its main head. It can only eat items. Although being not so powerful at this stage, it can kill a Ghasther if it is not given the star of valor.

Humpback[]

The wither will gain a small mass on it's back, this will happen at 1000 hp (500 hearts), it will become immune to arrows in this stage and have a slightly larger hitbox. But still, it can only suck in items.

Cycloptic[]

The back will grow larger and its middle head will become a Wither Storm head. At around 5000 health (2500 Hearts), it will cover its command block. After it eats more blocks, it will gain its tractor beam. Once it covers the block, it is immune to potions, and once it gains the beam, it can eat Mobs (this happens at 6000 health)(3000 Hearts). At 8000 health (4000 Hearts), it gains a small tentacle out of its left side before the Cocoon phase.

Destroyer[]

This is the larger version of The Wither Storm that has multiple tentacles and heads that can spit multiple flaming skulls and eat multiple mobs at once as well. Just before this stage, it quickly reassembles it's body in the Cycloptic stage, turning giant while doing so. Once it is fully assembled, all 3 heads become Wither Storm heads and can eat mobs independently, usually happens around 12.5K health (6250 Hearts), It grows 5 giant tentacles that can slap mobs nearby. The Command Block can now be found in its core. From this point on mobs nearby the wither storm will start to flee, and it will agro and chase a nearby player, it will keep chasing that player and never stop no matter how far they are, unless if they are in the nether or end, this is similar to when it always tracks the amulet in Minecraft Story Mode.

Big Brain[]

Grows a huge mass on the top of it's leaning down back at 50K health, it grows 2 larger tentacles with 200 health, damage, and range. It also can sever if dealt with over 5K explosive damage, losing a lot of mass in the process.

World Eater and Severed[]

The final stage of The Wither Storm can now summon smaller Severed Wither Storms, covers almost all of the sky and causes a thunderstorm that lasts forever until killed, health 250K+ hp (125k+ Hearts)

Severed[]

A variant of The Wither Storm. Spawns when either The Wither Storm gets large enough, or it hit by a very powerful explosion in the Devourer stage and up. Has 1000-2000 health, Less damage, and less armor, and doesn't attract things (Though it can still suck in mobs). The main Wither Storm spawns in one about every 3 minutes once at around 1M+ hp.

The maximum health a Wither Storm can have is 2,147,483,647 hp (2.14B aka the maximum 32-bit integer, and Minecraft is a 32-bit game) (1,073,741,823.5 Hearts)(1B) it will lag your game a lot and most likely crash it.

What not to Do[]

Never use a Repeating Command Block with a Button or Lever to Summon it in. It will Lag your Entire Game out and Possibly make that World Unplayable. Never have anybody get Op in a World with The Mod if they have pulled Very bad Pranks on you. They could Spam click The 'Summon Wither Storm' Item On The Ground. Since it drops a lot of XP it can lag out your game (and it also does that when it grows a little bit).

Its recommended to only have 1 wither storm active in each world/dimension at a time, as already it can cause performance drops due to the fact that the wither storm is made up of multiple npcs/parts and each head shooting a bunch of flaming wither skulls. Lag and crashes can quickly come if there's more than one wither storm, especially once there in there severed forms, although if they are all in their pre-devourer form, then hundreds could be spawned!

If you decide to spawn in one with under 12000 hp up to 10000 hp incase then you can actually battle it against Rathovart from Lycanites Mobs and it will get obliterated!

Combat (solo)[]

Bows are useless since arrows get sucked in (even anti-gravity arrows from ExtraUtil2). Melee, magic and guns work however.

Armor stronger than diamond is recommended with as much protection enchants/upgrades as possible. Resistance, absorption, and health upgrades are also helpful. Shields may also helpful for closing distance, but have not been tested. COFH lets you refine potions to level 4, letting you have resistance IV for 80% damage reduction on top of armor damage reduction. The wither ring from Trinkets and Baubles may stop the permanent wither II, otherwise Regeneration II or better can counteract it.

Avoid killing any segment other than the body as this will crash the game, but defeating the body and the segments at the same time should be fine.

If you want a cheap win you can use the following:

  • The sword of the cosmos from Avaritia
  • Anti-matter/red-matter missile from ICBM
  • The ODB from Abyssal craft
  • Schrabidium Hammer or Schrabidium Revolver from HBM
  • Any weapon from the Titans Mod (Because of how hard it is to not get pushed back, The Ultima Blade and Axe are the best choices because their high range)
  • Any weapon enchanted with the "The Eraser Command" enchant (it deals insane extra damage against wither storms, and can potentially even one or two shot Destroyer and above stages)

Weapons need to deal damage the outpaces it's regeneration, a nuclear rocket from Techguns does 250 damage and may also deal splash damage to other segments. Potentially, you can have several turrets using the nuclear rockets to make quick work of it.

If enchants aren't and potion levels aren't capped, high sharpness and strength may work. Kikoku from Extra Utilities 2 works if you spam-click it (the sword removes max health of whatever it hits by percentage, eventually the boss will die from the sword's base damage)

A hit to the body with a freezing sword from Ice and Fire causes it to pass through the floor and fall into the void for a short time, which may give you time to heal and buff.
