Vindicators are a rare mob in the world of Minecraft.
Spawning[]
Item[]
If natural spawning is disabled, Vindicators can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with an Egg, two Emeralds, and an Iron Axe. It takes a total of 45 seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 150 mana. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn a Vindicator, which has a chance to spawn as a baby.
Natural[]
If natural spawning is enabled, wild Vindicators will only spawn inside of Woodland Mansions upon generation.
Behavior[]
Vindicators attack by charging at opponents and striking them with their Iron Axe. Although they do cost a bit of Mana to make, the fact they can two shot a player with no armor makes them a rather good unit, especially when paired with other Illagers such as the Evoker or the Illusioner.
Engender Vindicators will attack normal Illagers despite the fact that they will not fight back. If the player nicknames an Engender Vindicator "Johnny", it will play the iconic "Here's Johnny!" line from the movie The Shining, however other than having a different idle animation, the Vindicator doesn't get any stronger nor will it attempt to kill passive mobs. Engender Vindicators are one of the many mobs that have a female model.
