Zombie Pigman are a common mob in the world of Minecraft.
Spawning[]
Item[]
If natural spawning is disabled, Zombie Pigman can only be spawned by players using their fused item, which can be crafted with an Egg, a piece of Rotten Flesh, and two Golden Swords. It takes a total of 28 seconds for the fusion part to be fused, at the cost of 80 mana. After which, you'll have your spawn item to spawn a Zombie Pigman, which one item will give the player two Zombie Pigman. Each one will spawn with a Leather Cap for protection (Due to a bug, it cannot wear it and it will drop upon being spawned in) as well as the cape that the player has (if they have a cape equipped). The item can also spawn a Zombie Pigman as a baby, and they have a chance of spawning with either a second Gold Sword, an enchanted Gold Sword, or a Shield in their offhand. A Zombie Pigman has a 1/5 chance of spawning with the skin it used in its first release for Pocket Edition.
Natural[]
If natural spawning is enabled, wild Zombie Pigman will spawn anywhere in the Nether at a light level of 11 or lower.
Behavior[]
Zombie Pigman attack enemies by charging them and hitting them with their swords, due to the fact the player gets two Zombie Pigman per item, making them one of the only Fusions where you get more than one of the same mob, and the fact they deal decent damage and are undead, Zombie Pigman are one of the best tier 4 mobs to use for an army, especially in large numbers, as they can overwhelm even the strongest opponents.
Zombie Pigman are undead mobs, meaning they take damage from Healing potions and heal from Harming potions, and are unaffected by Poison, Wither, or Regeneration. Engender Zombie Pigman are one of the many mobs that have a female model, making it the only Zombie mob to not have a male model aside from Zombie Villagers. If an Engender Zombie Pigman is made into a Hero Zombie Pigman via use of The Star of Valor, it will become a Leader Zombie Pigman and gain gain a new ability where the Zombie Pigman will occasionally leap at the enemy and deal massive damage to them, making it one of only two Zombie enemies that don't have the Morality boost roar attack, the only other one being the Giant.
